Don't hesitate!

I've wanted this jacket for over a year! When i first came across Goldtop it was obvious they made an amazing product. After looking at the specs of the jacket i was a bit hesitant as I am tall and have a long torso (6'2' 215 lbs 42.5 chest 36 inch waist). I prefer my jackets to be a just a bit longer but it's shorter length is not a deal breaker. I ordered a 46" in order to account for layers which fits great in the chest even without layers, the waist is a bit larger at this size for me but, the side straps do a great job of bringing it in at bottom without bunching. It's a snug fit size up!

I've tested this jacket in 35F at an average speed of 80 mph for 2 hours and with a couple of layers and it was very warm!

Oh and if you're worried about the collar flapping -it's not an issue until you get up to 90mph or more, and it's not really an issue at all a flap here and there nothing major (mainly when turning my head to look around. not an issue when facing forward at all). Probably shouldn't be riding that fast anyway but hey anything for a the review right?

The 2 inside pockets are MASSIVE. I could easily carry a beer or 2 in each pocket with the jacket unzipped! Hand pockets actually fit my hands as well very roomy easily fit my gloves in there when not riding.

lastly i went with d30 ghost armor for the shoulders and elbows as that's what i'm used to and it's not noticeable at all. Added the knox micro lock compact armor seems thick out of the box but barely notice it while wearing the jacket or while riding.
