Outstanding on all levels. Quality, protection, style, and service.
The best jacket I’ve owned in 35 years of motorcycling.
An excellent jacket. Fits true to size.
I was extremely impressed at the quality of the jacket, the leather used is very tough and yet has a silky smooth buttery texture to it.
Zippers are also very high quality and have no fear of them failing.
This jacket, as I'm sure all the Gold Top jackets do, oozes quality.
Good job! Gold Top.
Lovely quality leather and manufacture. Can't fault the stitching and materials used. so , all very positive.
My regret is the bags actual weight. Even with nothing in it the bag is heavy on the shoulder. In hindsight it was not a good purchase for me personally. I would have been better with just a simple light weight canvas shoulder bag as I use it for walks of near two hours.
I first bought one for my wife, but as it felt very comfortable I bought another one for myself. I don't really like wool, it itches and scratches the crook of my arm and the back of my neck, but not this one.
The craftsmanship on this jacket is impeccable! It does wonders for riding in the cold while still managing to be incredibly comfortable and stylish.
I'd previously ordered a much more expensive wool racing sweater from another brand, and it turned out to be too heavy to be practical (I live in California) and had zero mechanical stretch (had trouble getting into it). Then I found this Goldtop one that's made of cotton and decided to give it a try. Just got it in the mail today and I'm wearing it already. Very handsome, very retro-looking, and maybe most important--very comfortable. The knit construction has some give, so I don't feel constricted like I did with the other brand's sweater.
For reference: I'm 5'8", 150 pounds, with a 38" chest and got the small. Fits perfectly.
I commute in low temperatures and love the oversize wind flap. The quality of the leather, the craftsmanship, the zippers, the liner, and the design are very nice. The price is fair and can be justified by the joy, quality, and longevity this jacket will provide. The slit in the collar would b my only complaint as it let's cold air in without an undergarment to block it.
I went with the D30 Ghost armour with my new Bobber jacket and it’s great. You don’t feel the armour in the jacket while wearing it and it isn’t visible from the outside of the jacket when worn.
This is my first Goldtop jacket and the quality is wonderful.
The leather is so supple and soft feeling and it’s very warm.
I went with the D30 Ghost armour and you can barely feel it’s there or see it on the outside of the jacket.
Bought these for a Christmas present for my husband. Excited because he won’t be expecting them.
This is a top notch jacket. Heavy? Oh yes. However, when wearing it, you won't notice. If you want to ride in the early Spring, late Autumn and Winter—this is your jacket. Warm as toast. Very well made and the leather is deluxe. Can't recommend it enough. I feel like a million bucks in this thing. Get the armor upgrade. The regular armor is good, but the level 2 is worth it.
Great mid season glove, keep you warm when it's a bit nippy, but brings through a draft so you don't over heat.
These are really nice looking. Don't really need the sewn on logo design on the backs tho. Doubtful that they will be all that warm... But you know.. Fashion! They look fab. The palm protection is superb and they have a purposeful feel.
Fantastic gloves, warm and not too bulky, easy to get on and off, marvellous value, thanks
These are very comfortable inside my patrol jacket. You hardly know they are there, can't comment on an accident, and I hope I don't have to. But if I do have an accident I feel confident that they will help.
Only given 4 stars at present due to not having ridden in them. Review given on first impressions and service. Very comfortable fit, extremely well made and excellent delivery service. I have no doubt that they will live up to expectation just as the gauntlets i currently use do. As always, top quality products.
It does everything I expected it to. It's soft, comfortable and goes well with a black leather jacket. Fits inside the neck easily.
I don't know how "micro" this back pad is, but it is soft and comfortable and I trust it to protect my back. You don't notice it when wearing because it is light-weight and very flexible. It fits perfectly in the '76 Café Racer jacket. I'd buy again.
