What size should I get?

Men's sizes are chest measurements in inches; women's follow UK dress sizes. Most riders take their usual size. If you are between two sizes, take the larger.

Elbow and shoulder armour is included, in Knox or D3O. Back armour is an optional extra.

Is this jacket waterproof?

No. Semi-aniline leather is only slightly water resistant, fine for a short light shower, but not designed for sustained downpours.

How long does delivery take?

Order before 12pm UK time and we will try and ship your order on the same day (Monday to Friday).

Yes. UK returns are free on orders over £250. International customers cover return postage.

Does the leather need breaking in?

It softens over the first few hundred miles and keeps its shape.

My New Favorite Jacket

Amazing quality, I love the supple buttery leather. It has an awesome retro look that still looks “Metal”. Comfortable and functional. Keeps me protected with D3O Ghost armor inserts and keeps me warm on crisp morning. It is a warm jacket; I’ve been using it every day and it gets a little hot on the winter afternoons here in Los Angeles. I’m a 38” chest and the sizing guide recommended a size 40”. I ordered a size down and the 38” provided the fitted look I desired. I ordered this jacket with a pair of fleece lined Café Racer gloves to match. Overall very pleased with my purchase and I am now a dedicated life long customer!

Form and function, well worth it.

Fit is everything. I ordered this 68 Café racer jacket in size 48. It just felt ever so slightly big. I was factoring something layered underneath. I am actually a 46 chest. I nearly went another model but decided to stick with what I chose initially. I’ll wait a couple of months and this jacket in the 46 has just landed. It is absolutely amazing Leather is thick soft and supple. The fit is now spot-on feel real good wearing it and already had compliments on the first trip out.

I have just bought my first Goldtop leather jacket - the 1968 Cafe Racer. I am delighted with the jacket which has had its first outing today. I am very grateful for the excellent service I received from Joe who couldn't have been any more knowledgeable and helpful. He made me aware of Goldtop's custom services but in the end when the jacket arrived it fitted perfectly as it was. The Knox body armour is also excellent so I am really happy to have a jacket the both looks excellent and offers a high level of protection and will definitely go back to this company who I became aware of through Urban Rider.
