Quality and comfortable

These socks are quality made and I imagine will prove to be warm. Obviously, they are thick and depending how tight fitting your boots are, will ultimately determine how successful they will be for you. In my case they are too thick for my Stylmartin Matrix boots however they are fine for my walking shoes.

Magic Merino

2nd pair of Gold Top socks, and the magic that comes with Merino is strong in this pair. Recent 300 mile day on the bike, thundery downpours and 26 degrees. Went with the adventure boots for the drenching but what to wear underneath? These of course. Having treasured merino socks for their winter insulation I can confirm that they also deliver on the breathability front. Lesser socks on such a day would have needed the sweat wringing out, but these kept me comfortable and dry.

Great but thickness can be an issue

This is a lovely pair of socks. The material is excellent and keeps you very warm. However, I have found that because of the larger than usual thickness I cannot wear them with some of my motorcycle boots as they make a super tight fit. Due to the same reason on the other hand I have been using them as an alternative to wearing slippers in the winter months.

fit is good soft and cosy did give some cushioning but not too thick. The only snag was when i caught them in the velcro of the boot, so avoid that.
Fantastic sock that i will need in the autumn winter.

Marino wool socks

Quite simply the best motorcycle socks I’ve ever bought. Warm and long and incredibly comfortable. I will be buying more of these.

Absolutely brilliant socks.

These are fantastic socks, so comfortable and an excellent fit. They pull up easily and stay in place without being overly tight. They're wonderfully warm and just so comfy you won't want to take them off! I've not tried them on the bike yet but I've no doubt they'll make my clunky adventure boots a lot nicer to wear.

Best winter socks I've had in 40 years riding.

Speed of order fulfilment was excellent so thanks Goldtop. When i put these on, to try them out, i was literally blown away as the softness of the wool and other fibres and that they adapted carefully but formly around my ankles, calves and just below the knee. They slipped on like a second skin and felt super luxurious; and toasty too. These are an 11/10 item.
