The core of this piece is the Microlock technology. It remains soft and flexible when static, then reacts under impact by firming up. That dual behavior matters. It means you don’t feel like you’re wearing a rigid insert during normal use, yet you gain certified protection when it actually counts.
Level 2 certification is the key point. It places this armour in a higher protection category compared to standard inserts, designed to absorb more impact energy. In practical terms, it translates into greater confidence without introducing bulk.

Good armour

I upgraded to the Knox armour to go in my Scuftuf 74 jacket. It fitted well in the jacket and feels substantial and protective. I have D30 Ghost armour in another jacket, and although thinner, I prefer the Knox as it feels more protective.

Nice back pad

I don't know how "micro" this back pad is, but it is soft and comfortable and I trust it to protect my back. You don't notice it when wearing because it is light-weight and very flexible. It fits perfectly in the '76 Café Racer jacket. I'd buy again.

Very comfortable

Got the Knox Microlock Compact armours with my jacket. These Knox Microlock are way more flexible and comfortable than the thick rubber thing I used to have. At first glance they look strange, being so thin and flexible, but the "honeycomb" structure is supposed to collapse and stiff in case of a crash.
They are CE certified so although I expect never to test myself, they are supposed to be top in the safety (and main) purpose.
