Very impressive step up from Ghost, let's hope I don't need it
Replaced my level 1 Ghost D30 with the level 2 D30 Diablo armour; it seemed extravegant but I wanted the extra Level 2 protection. The Diablo is seriously impressive - thicker yes than Ghost, but not much and so flexible you won't notice. Also it has no backing so flows air much better, overall it feels 'less' than the ghost armour which makes it well worth it and of course gives twice the protection. For a giggle I pulled out my old pre-ghost D30 which I was so impressed with a few years back and the advance is amazing - I gave all my old D30 away to a friend who was still on foam body armour.... I'm not going back

Replaced my jeans knee armour and my 617 jacket shoulder and elbow with D30 Diablo armour, huge benefit in comfort both on and off the bike. Protection remains to be tested (hopefully never).

Coming from D3O ghost to this
I've got D3O in everything I wear - three jackets and five different trousers/jeans. I refuse to buy from the Twat In The Cap so was delighted to see goldtop now supply Diablo armour as the reviews show it to be exceptional.
I'm leaving this review now, after placing my 2nd order with goldtop for another two lots of diablo L2 armour. The first I've fitted in my marrakesh jacket and trousers, and I have another set already in my Klim Latittude jacket and trousers. They really are exceptional - only fractionally thicker than L1 ghost, but you can feel the difference. Comfy, lighter than ghost, and SO much airflow it's a joke to think a year ago we all thought ghost was the best for venting!
This is exceptional armour, at a fair price from goldtop. Do yourself a favour and upgrade your existing armour to diablo - you'll not regret it. Your kit will feel new!

Excellent fit for Oxford Jackets
I bought these to fit my Montreal 4 jacket along with the shoulder as I like to have the best I can afford in my jackets. They fit well and unlike the standard D30 Ghost these are shaped to fit the body and not flat. No complaints as they do fit and "touch wood " they should perform well if needed, they are also perforated with no backing which should mean good air flow if fitted to a mesh jacket.

I picked this up in store and am very impressed with the fit and comfort. Great value for £30 and a better fit than the previous ghost armour.
