Lovely Boots

Unlike other bike boots, (like Alpine Stars - which may be a good boot) but do not bend, these feel like a proper boot. They bend so you can get your toe/foot under the gear lever easily. They are comfortable to wear after a little bedding in, and look really cool.

Fantastic boots and equally fantastic service

These boots are amazing: top quality and fit.
They do run large and I was able to down-size my order after extensive exchange about sizing per e mail.
That sort of personalised communication is only possible in a small shop where the person is interested enough to help you and see you right.

Not the same quality as the jackets

I once was hands on with a Goldtop jacket at a bike show and the quality impressed me: I knew one day I would own one..
The 1958 jacket I bought is just lovely, soft but strong, warm and stylish - I love it. Then I wanted a pair of boots in a traditional style and opted for the Goldtop mid calf race boots in black chrome bovine and thought they would be quality, made in Northamptonshire, bike boots I would be proud of. But, they are made in Spain, have to go long in length to get the width and have that type of leather that I think has been split then a plastic surface added on top to get more out of each hide. The quality is just not there, glad I bought in the sale rather than paying full price..
