The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites vintage style motorcycle riders to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa. Mark was inspired by the TV Show Mad Men, as Don Draper rode a classic bike in a suit, from there the idea transformed into a themed bike ride. The DGR is a great way of connecting niche motorcycle enthusiasts and communities while raising funds to support the men in our lives.
Since 2012, the ride has raised an impressive $37.5 million, has had over 340,000 riders take part in 121 countries worldwide and shows no signs of slowing down!

How do i sign up?

What time does the ride start?
The Bishop's Stortford Ride is on the 21st May 2023. The Goldtop Shop will be open early for coffee from 9:00am
do i have to raise money to ride?
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride is a charitable event, and not doing your very best to raise funds is not particularly distinguished. Every little bit helps towards us achieving our shared goals, for men to live happier, healthier and longer lives. Only with the fundraising support of our participants and the wider community, can they continue their influential life-changing work. You will need to raise an initial £20 to take part in the ride.
Where can I get the DGR x Goldtop Merch?
The limited edition DGR x Goldtop Jersey, scarf and stick packs are now available on our website and will also be available at the event as well as on the day of the ride on 21st May 2023. There will only be 100 of each design available (including size variants).
